About Sue

Sue has been a resident of Mid-coast Maine for many wonderful years. A native of VA her degree is in nursing from the University of Virginia. She & her husband, Don, opened RE/MAX Riverside in the Fall of 2002. Their focus remains a concentration on professionalism, ethical standards, and 'team' attitude. Sue works as a team with Darlene Chalmers. Together they cherish the friendships forged in their representation of buyer & seller clients throughout the area.

Sue has served on many Boards and Committees throughout the MidCoast over the years, including (but not limited to) the Brunswick Local Redevelopment Authority, Topsham Development Inc, Main Street Committee (Chair), Comprehensive Plan Implementation Committee, Maine Listings Board of Directors, and others. She presently serves as a Director on the Board of Directors for Mid Coast-Parkview Health (a member of the Maine Health parent organization), Chair of the Quality and Patient Safety Committee for Mid Coast-Parkview Health, and the Mid Coast-Parkview Health Senior Health Committee.

Her greatest passions are family (both personal and professional), enjoying home and gardens, and her horses! She and Don have a hobby-related love of raising a small number of American Saddlebred show horses and enjoy showing an American Hackney Harness Pony on the regional and national circuit.
